I bought a set of these a couple months ago - awesome poles for under $25 delivered to your door. Just thought I'd pass the deal along.

Thanks. Just placed my order for a pair.

Question - are they sold singly or in pairs. In pairs when you click "Add 1 to your cart" , I hope!

Do not buy anything from Ski Universe. I read this thread and opted to buy a new pair of ski poles for my wife on October 17th. Ski Universe states tht everything is in stock. Well, today is October 26th and Ski universe has failed to respond to three emails and 2 telephone voice mails. Tomorrow, I will be filing a claim with Pay Pal. Bottom line is that you should all stay away from Ski Unoverse.

well, try to be patient, I've given them 4 chances over six months and they've delivered every time.  albeit, the communication on the last order was rough....but they've shipped all the same and I'm a happy guy.......the universe dropped off a '10 191 joe 105, swix sg poles, 2 pairs of freeflex 14's, and a mojo 18x for under twofifty.......I was writing love letters to their girl by the end....depleted liquidation was fun to watch...

Being patient is not a problem. I can deal with a few days of no communications. But, these poles are for my wife who has not skied for the last several seasons and I have now missed several good deals while waiting for this one to even breath a breathe of a whimper of a response over the past 10 days. I should have known that if the deal is too good to believe, then do not believe it. I will give Ski Universe this weekend to communicate with me on the basis that they have been on vacation. But, they should really change their website ads to state "equipment advertised is always in stock, but live beings to ship and /or respond to you are not".rolleyes.gif

I ordered a set of Head/Tyrolia RFD 14 railflex bindings from them several weeks ago for a ridiculous price, something like $60.  They apparently just ignore emails and voice mails, but I did get the bindings, without the rails which are needed to mount them.  No response to emails or voice mails so I just ordered the rails from Level Nine.  Even then, I saved a large amount over what anyone else wanted for these bindings.  Can't say I would order from them again though.
