Hi,

Need help finding coupons, or any other ways to get deep discounts for ski school for 5 years old at Winter Park, CO or Granby Ranch, CO in January, 2013. We are also looking for ways to save on adults lift tickets at Winter Park. If you have Please help!

We are going to travel for the first time to Winter Park, CO between January 18-27 and will be staying at The mountainside at Silvercreek, CO. Granby Ranch, CO.

We are planning to do most of our skiing at Winter Park and wanted to find an affordable way to place our 5 years old at the ski school there. So far ski school looks very expensive. Our 5 years old already skies (after 2 weeks of ski camps/schools in two previous ski seasons) - any ideas on how to get deep discounts on ski school for our kiddo?

Would also appreciate tips on how to safe on adult lift tikets in WP as well.

Thank you in advance!!!

Look in to purchasing a season's pass. With ten days there, it's about the best deal going. passes also give friends and family discount coupons and  20% off ski school, but check to make sure you can use if for your child. Also, Sol Vista ski school is cheaper and rentals are included.

Taking your kid all day, teaching him/her, feeding them lunch and providing lift tickets for $149 (before discount) is not that expensive. If you were paying a babysitter $20 per hour, that comes to $120 for a six hour day... Just sayin'

Christy Sports sells 4 packs of WP ski lessons. Last year that was $375, no gear rental included. May not be easy for you to get remotely, though, and they are use or lose.

In terms of lift tickets, Winter Park sells a 4 pack. I believe they're about $170 now. You're not going to find a better deal than that.

If you are desperate to save money and your kid already skis why not just ski with him/her along with you, at least on some days?  5 and under ski free almost everywhere, including Winter Park.
