Found a killer local ski shop that I didn't know had such a good selection. Have been trying to figure out what I am going to add to my ski collection this winter. Currently own 2010 Line Prophet 100's in 172 and 2012 Line Influence 105's in 179. I love my Influences but am thinking of adding another all mountain ski just for the fun of it and then add a powder specific ski as well. However I live in Michigan and only get outwest 8-10 days a year. So getting a powder specific ski might not be that great of an idea since it will see little use. I have thrown around a few options and this is what I have come up with:
1) Get the Bonafide 180 and alternate it with Influence 105 in Michigan and use out west when the snow isn't deeper than one foot. Then add Either Armada JJ, Armada Norwalk or Line Mr Pollard Opus as my powder ski for the deep stuff. If I am lucky enough to hit any deep stuff when I am out west.
2) Or just get either the Cochise or Armada TST and use it no matter what the conditions outwest. Deep or not deep snow.
Anyone have any time on the TST and how does it handle the deep stuff? I ski steeps, bumps in the steeps, bumps, tree's and chutes.
