Some pics of the new 2013 112RP Pure's and 112RPCs side by side in 190 and 192 respectively. The pics here really don't do them justice (and are a little blurry, sorry)--both are gorgeous skis. You can see the rocker in the 112RPCs was fairly dramatically reduced and they are reinforced in the tip and tails with metal. They seem to be a little heavier than the Pure's. I really like the new textured matte finish--it looks very tough and abrasion resistant.
I was originally going to send the RPCs back but I'm still torn whether to mount and keep both and sell one after picking a favorite on the mountain--after flexing them I'm starting to think the RPCs might be more my ticket as they are noticeably stiffer than the Pure's.
BTW, I have a very lightly used pair of 190 Hybrid's I'll be selling (used about 4 days last season, only on the big dumps we had at Squaw/Alpine in March). Purchased at and tuned by Starthaus in Truckee and mounted with STH14s. PM me with offers if you're interested.
(Funny anecdote, a co-worker dropped by as I was taking these pics and said "nice water skis." )
