Which is a more diversifying quiver overlap?

I have the oppertunity to exchange my 2012 K2 Obsetheds for 2012 Icelantic Gypsys.

The reason i am considering doing this is because I just picked up a pair of Nordica Patrons and i feel they are very similar to the obsethed.

The only problem is that the Gypsy would overlap my Surface New Lifes.

Would you rather have the patron, the obsethed, and the new life?

Or the patron, the gypsy and the new life?

Also can you let me know if this is right or not?... i read the k2 obsethed, although thinner , will be worse on groomers. How?

That sounds very complicated.  All I know is I demoed about ten pair of skis last year and the Obsethed and the Gypsies were by far my favorite.  I thought they both did well on harder snow and held an edge.  I went with the Gypsies with the hope that they'll give me a better gap from my old (105 mm waisted) Obsetheds.  I don't think you can make a wrong decision here, don't over think it.

you're better off over-skiing it than over-thinking it.  And then ebay is your friend for whatever you decide you like least.
