Thanks again Gonz. I have not really noticed a problem with the brakes being to touchy, will have to pay closer attention this weekend.
Have to say that I am really enjoying single track riding. In years past went went once or twice a year. It was not until the end of last season that I bought my own bike. Prior to that I just rented. The hassle factor of getting to the shop/returning plus the 25.00 a day kept me from going more often.
Pow Junkie mentioned the correlation to skiing. Last weekend I rode with a friend who is a much better skier than I. She had only been on a Mtn Bike a couple of times before that. She did much better on the bike. Not so much on the climbs, I am probably in better condition than she, but boy on the downhills, she rocked. The point of all this is a hope that not only will I have serious fun in summer/fall but maybe it will help me with my skiing?
A bit of a ramble here, sorry.
