Somewhere north of 100 MPH or sucked in low on sweepers.

That moment when you were supposed to do a couple of turns but something (or someone) got in your way and now you're doing 60-70mph and waiting for the slope to dish out so you can breathe again and rejoice in the fact that it's likely you'll live.

That shit concentrates your mind.  I love it.

That moment right as you fall lead climbing or that moment right after your parachute opens.

This may be anathema on this board, but I feel most alive when I'm using my body, mind, and soul to link up with others toward a common goal.  The hight of this for me is when I'm making music.  Skiing is about third on my list.

...when I'm in the mountains.

To me, it's the ultimate religious experience. It doesn't matter if I'm backpacking, hunting, skiing, snowshoeing or snowboarding, to me, the topography, weather and wildlife is some type of conduit to the idea of God.

When I nail the steep mogul run without stopping.
