'Adirondack Chairs' made from old skis

I'm sure we've all seen some of these outside lodges; Adirondack style chairs made from old cut down skis.

The show Market Wars on PBS just featured a pair of them which sold for $1000 , at auction.

I think I've got enough 1970s vintage Olins, Yamahas and Hexcels to make at least 3.

I have made them from wood, would love to make a set from skis, I have seen the ski ones before and love them.

Anyone have a 'how-to' or guide to making them?

Apparently someone else had the same number of skis available (2nd result on Google Images):

Meh, ^looks like an amateur hack job.    Not terribly well planned at all.      (And no, I'm not just saying that because they wrecked the Titanium C's)

My Ski Team Sponsor, SkiChair.com, manufactures these and sells kits to make with your own skis.

Made these this weekend out of some old skis a friend gave me. Not sure what to do with it now.
