Masterfit u is it worth it?

Thinking of signing up for a Masterfit Univ course, I have some fit problems and would like to learn how to work on my own boots moving forward. Thoughts.

Difficult question.  I imagine most everyone here has been to Masterfit, but probably after substantial training.  The problem I see with going to Masterfit is only that after you learn you still need to invest in the tools.  If you are prepared to do that then definitely go it is the best place you'll find to get training other than working for a very well trained fitter.

Well worth it!

yup, great courses, the problem is as Lou stated you need the tools to do the work, but if it is an area of interest to you then why not do the course and see if you can get some part time work in a local ski shop.... would give you access to tools and possibly make some cash to drop on more gear!

Without a doubt will buy the tools after the course. I do all my own ski work why not invest on the boot tools and do it myself. Always felt I would do a better job than some stranger.

Besides giving you knowledge about boot fitting inside the shell, it also gives you a foundation on stance and alignment, which could also help you understand your own skiing better. Very often, instructors attend Masterfit U. to help them work with and understand their students possible limitations due to the stance in their boots.
