Need to add skis to my quiver for a season or two at whistler

Just moved to whistler, and am looking for a ski to handle the steeps and bust through that west coast snow.

Strong skier having Most of my days last year at sunpeaks, but a couple of days big white, silver star, and revy.  I love going fast and playing in the trees and making big turns.

Current everyday ski is a 2012 francis bacon 184cm.  Those skis were great for those mountains, but after looking whistler mountain over and talking to friends that live there I am worried about the stiffness of that ski.  Thinking something like a gotama.  Demo'ed one a pair last year in a 186.  Felt good, but there is a 194 that looks pretty fun, worried that it may be to big for me.  Or any other thoughts on skis.

My stats

6'0" 200lbs.  last year I got about 65+days in.

Cheers

Prior skis are manufactured in Whistler so I would recommend trying those and just demo as many ski as you can before you buy.

Your friends telling you that your skis are too stiff for Whistler is not something that i would bother listening to. Ski them and decide for yourself.

Should qualify, by concern on the stiffness of the ski they meant not stiff enough to bust through the crud that happens.  I felt that on some non ideal ski day at sun peaks this year.  Anyways just throwing the question out there.
