SkiDude. Is this video an example of your description of the phases? I guess it could be, but it is quite different to how racers ski. With some slight modifications your text could also describe a race turn, but I get a feeling that describing only the output is not enough. What about the rest of the joints in Phase 1?
Yes that would work...as would any video of good skiers. The 3 phases as I described them, actually comes from the WC/CSCF and was adopted by the CSIA a few years back (2002/2003 if I recall). So it definatley works for racing, as that is where it comes from. As for the other joints in phase 1...well of course other stuff happens, but I just emphasised the ankles, because that was the main subject of this thread.
I am not sure what you mean by "without complying to a certain norm". JF "by definition" is text book CSIA final form. Totally agree thou, its great to watch.
