Looking for all around beg-int skis and these 2 options seem good. Does anyone know anything about either?

Or any input on both companies would be cool too

I bought the Dynastar Outland 80XT at the end of last winter which are similar. Only skied 10 days on them before going back to my old skis (now my rock skis) because of marginal spring conditions. They turn exceptionally easily and are good on groomers & in powder. I'm not impressed with how they handle bumps but being your looking for a beginner/intermediate ski I don't think that matters. Overall however I'm happy with the ski.

I've demoed many different Volkl's in the past & never liked them.

Hi

I've bought the Outland 80 pro after the season. I skied a lot them in spring slush conditions, they are quite stable and friendly when negotiating turns in bad pistes. So yeah, I liked the Outland series and would recommend the 80ies (maybe not the 80 pro, as its a bit stiff, but if you have the weight and/or strength, why not), I suppose the 75es are as good as the +5mm waist members.

The volkls I only skied in the Code Speedwall, which is very fast and full of grip, and as long as the piste is perfect, they are great.
