Tyler Hamilton, formerly of the U.S. Postal Service professional bike racing team, where he worked as Chance Legstrong's climbing loo-tenant, and now currently of the Danish CSC-Tiscali squadron, is a good bet to win the Giro de Italia which kicks off in some flat and overcast northern european country this saturday. (euro union promotion i guess) If, that is, he has the fitness after allergies have kept him from racing as much as Gilberto, Franceso, Stephano, the comical Marco and all the other assorted and various uphillers and threeweeksufferfest maniac pros.

Anyway, Tyler raced skis for the University of Colorado before getting hurt and taking up cycling and winning the collegiate national road race championship (Go Buffs!) then moving into the pro ranks and finding mucho successo.

Go boy!
