Wondering as i am looking for an all mountain...powder...crud... hardpack.. I know.. I know.. but came across this and

it seems as tho it would fit the bill.  I am a pretty agressive skier.. currently ski K2 Misbehaven 169 and luv luv luv them.. but

not so much on hard pack..I previously owned Lotta Luvs in a 160 and hated them feeling they were way to short.

My delima now is to get the 162's or the 170... i am 5.8'' 125 59 yrs old... and level 5 skier... will they be to short in

162 for crusin?  or to long in 170 for bumps... ???? the chart shows 162 up to 149 lbs... should i believe this ??

thanks soooooo much... or anyone think the Volkl Kenjas would be better.. or something else...

thanks

Welcome to EpicSki!

You're on to something with that particular ski.

I'd say that the two skis in that category that would fit your needs are the Temptation 88 and the Blizzard Black Pearl.  The Pearl will be more of an off piste bias ski, and the Temptation 88 will be a more on piste bias ski, but both fill a need in the area you're looking.

The Black Pearl is going to be a little easier to ski bumps, but the Temptation 88 is not bad in the bumps.

The Kenja is pretty darn good in all the things you're talking about except the bumps.  It means business on the groomers and crud busting but lacks the playful tenacity that bumps beg for.

As for length, (to give you comparison) I skied the 162, and would probably buy the 162 in the Temptation 88 - I'm 5'6" 135 lbs.

I ski the Black Pearl in 166.

Hope this helps a bit.

My GF is selling a pristine pair of Atomic Elysians in 168. 95 waisted and can ski anywhere and anything on the mountain. Let me know if you are interested.

Nice turn of phrase there.  Well put.

This ski will be better in powder than the others listed, and handles crud and bumps well, but gives up some of the front side (hardpack) strength that the other skis listed have.
