Anyone else watching the LLWS? I've spent my whole life living within 20 miles of where the world series is played so I tend to notice it every year. The local paper makes it front page news the whole time, and I'll go to a game occasionally. Last year was much more fun with a local area team making it for the first time in a very long time. I think the attendance hit 40,000 for their first game. Not bad considering its a city of about 25,000 people. That was a crazy atmosphere. Anyhow in general it tends to bore me, but I have to admit it is cool going out to lunch and being a table over from the family of the kid they just showed making the top play on SportsCenter (yesterday's No Hitter by the kid from CT).
