Salomon Twenty Twelve bindings

Thread Starter

Hey everyone, would really appreciate some suggestions for Salomon twenty twelve bindings. The ski is i believe 91 in the waist. My skiing style is pretty much carving down the most unpredictable terrain i can find at as high a speed as i can achieve and (recently) jumping off of everything i can find on my way down. I'm not looking for something overly expensive by being advertised as "pro." I would classify myself as probably advanced intermediate wanting to improve and get more into jumps/tricks/powder runs. Something that will realistically do the job. Thanks in advance

A lot depends on your size and how aggressively you ski.  From your description I'd say you're correct about being advanced intermediate.

I've never understood the need for an average joe to have bindings that go all the way up to the 18-20 range.  Pretty sure that's just to feel cool.  I'd say most people doing resort skiing, even hard resort skiing and jumping are fine with one that goes up to 14.  I use Tyrolia/Head Mojo/Peak 15's, Look PX 14 and Salomon S914 without problems.  But yes it does also depend on your size, ability and boot as well.
