Okay, I'm bored, so I'll play...

 

markojp... how tall are you and how heavy?  How good of a skier?  What will the Mag GS skis do for you that the present skis you have won't do?  Does the $149 include bindings?

 

I'm looking at getting a pair of carving skis myself... but I really don't need them.  Sort of.

]Dave, usual ride is a 180 E98 and 186 Blizzard Bodacious. Planning to do level 3 alpine this year. Love both skis. FIS race background many moons ago, will be at 190-195 lbs by the start of the season (200 now) Just thinking it'd be fun to have a pure piste ski/rock ski for early season and maybe some beer league stuff. $149 w/o bindings, but can probably get some marker race bindings very reasonably priced.

pull the trigger! if not tell me where I can buy them. 
Having just gotten my 3, I would say don't even think about taking you test on them. The E98 should be all you need for that.

Do these have the marker piston plates on them? if not, you will need them too.

Has the plate. They have some DH skis (Blizzard) from the same year at the same price... hmmmmm.. Now that would be fun! Tough to find a place to let them out of the bag though! Skiblind, indeed, love the E98's.

Ok... I'm going to do my usual 24-48 hour mental hold and see if they still speak to me. If they're gone by then, so be it. It's never a good idea to want something too much. The other option is to spend a little $$$ on some BC gear changes. Hmmmmmm... Do I sound like I don't know what I want yet? Yep. smile.gif
