If this were a relay race, I'd be taking the baton from nolo.

So here's the deal, we took the 6 most voted (7 votes or more) from the first pole in the Sticker Slogan Contest thread.

  • The site for dedicated skiers
  • Where winter never ends
  • Click * Point * Chute
  • You kids stay off (instead of "offa") my snow
  • Suck at your highest level
  • If skiing is your drug, we're your support group

 

 

Let's pick up to three of these slogans for some limited edition stickers using this format:

Click Point Chute is definitely the "coolest" of the bunch IMO.  Doesn't come off as slogan-y in a good way.

Would a few people please vote for something other than "the site for dedicated skiers"?

I thought we were going to make the sticker more 'interesting, perhaps even a little clever. "Dedicated" might as well be a chess club.** I don't know about you guys, but for better or worse, that's not my experience of epicski.com.

** Not that there's anything wrong with chess clubs.cool.gif

Given we have three votes, it's a necessity....  So, basically even though it's only one third of each person's set of votes, enough people agree on that one that it's distancing itself.

I personally like Click * Point * Chute, but it won't work with the bumper sticker style one. I think perhaps if we do that one on the little helmet sticker (It will work very well graphically with the circular sticker) and then either "The Site for Dedicated Skiers" or "Where Winter Never Ends" (whichever gets more votes) on the rectangular one.

Remember this: There will likely be 3 sticker options and you don't have to get the one that you don't like.  Meanwhile, its obvious that some people like the original "Site for dedicated skiers" because its getting votes.  Just saying...

Why won't it work on the bumper sticker one?  

I can easily see it on both, but would almost prefer the smaller sticker having no slogan, just EpicSki.com.

You can't balance out the text. With the mountain peak in the middle you have to put text on either side. Either way will look weird with two words on one side and one on the other. We would have to alter the mountain peak to be able to fit a word in the center.

For a bumper sticker, the Click * Point * Chute would be dominant and the epicski.com would be smaller in the corner. I also do think we need a logo sticker without any slogan too.

true.  the click point chute really should be black on white with the epic.com out of the way and in a corner. its perfect for a "Secret service typewriter font" 

 

ALthough I have to say, I am not sure what the "point" part means.....

Point-Point the skis down the hill (or in this case the "Chute")

Chute- Like a couloir
