Not planning to use that stock photo.  They have several old gapers lined up to pose for the real poster/sticker art.

+1 on the old guy sticker!

From your second link:

For most Americans, the natural thing to say is “Climb down off of [pronounced “offa”] that horse, Tex, with your hands in the air”; but many UK authorities urge that the “of” should be omitted as redundant. Where British English reigns you may want to omit the “of” as superfluous, but common usage in the US has rendered “off of” so standard as to generally pass unnoticed, though some American authorities also discourage it in formal writing. But if “onto” makes sense, so does “off of.” However, “off of” meaning “from” in phrases like “borrow five dollars off of Clarice” is definitely nonstandard.

I wouldn't.  I'd let it be a poster for those who want to run one on their own. But that's just me.

I'm thinking about the back window of a car or ski box, not a helmet sticker.  But, agree that the poster makes the most sense.

Well, in this case we're talking about getting off of snow.  Like getting off (or off of) the horse.  So, the Brits think it's superfluous, but we've been saying it long enough that now it's sort of accepted.  Language evolves.  I mean, isn't the term "smalls" in England referring to men's underwear?  The boxers currently being worn under men's pants could hardly be in that category!!

I picked the first one, but you spelled addicted wrong,

I think since there are so many choices, but we've identified a few front runners, it would be nice to re-vote on the top 8 or so.  I know I had a hard time picking just three and could have gone either way on many of them.

I agree.  Think of it as an election runoff, considering this is our Primary Election day in Washington.  Get out the vote!

well lets make sure all who vote can prove who they are first, I am very worried about non-epic people coming in spoofing their IP's to look like epic members in order to vote..  biggrin.gif

How about Epic Ski, the place where skiing addicts can feel at home?

I think it would help to have art included, one vote, 3-4 choices showing the sticker with the slogan so folks know that the old man slogan sticker won't actually have the old man face on it.

That's a good idea.

Look for it first thing tomorrow.

For the record, I think that the "kids off(a) my snow" ought to just be a plain strip ala "change for a nickle", maybe with a small EpicSki.com in the bottom corner.  No mountains on that one.

If we stick with everything that got 7 votes or more on the current poll, these will transfer to the new poll

The site for dedicated skiers

Click Point Chute

You kids stay offa my snow

Suck at your highest level

Ready to roll with it?

Stay tuned.

I would add this to the new poll but we'd be opening up a whole new can of worms.  I don't feel like worms for lunch today.
