Olympic Valley development plans

Squaw is sending out a very detailed survey of what people want in purchasing vacation properties in the Valley and around Tahoe, which by extrapolation tell yuo a lot about what KSL is planning for Squaw.

Olympic Valley Real Estate Survey 2012

Looks like the current status quo is about to and and there will be a lot more condominiums built.  Probably say bye-bye to the parking lot and hello to the shuttle system connecting the parking lots further down the valley (anyone who experienced parking at NorthStar feel free to chime in ;-).  That last bit obviously worries me, but perhaps it was inevitable,

I saw that survey.  It seems to have been written by someone with a one-track mind.

It's like: OK, so you don't want to buy anything and you value the natural feel of the mountains.  That's great.  Now, do you prefer a Viking or a GE stove in your condo?

Squaw could be going from one of the better parking access to one of the worse.
