Snow Time has announced that season passes and advantage cards will go on sale at preseason rates on August 1st for their three Mid-Atlantic ski areas, Liberty, Roundtop, and Whitetail.   Pre-season rates are good through 10/31, with a resort cash bonus of $50 or $25 dollars depending on which season pass is purchased added to the season pass card if purchased before 9/30.  Resort cash can be used to make any purchases at the three ski areas.  Rates for season passes and advantage cards are the same as last year and a pass or advantage card purchased at one resort can be used at the other two resorts.

A season pass purchased before the rates go up will pay for itself after 7 - 10 trips to any of the ski areas depending on when you visit, i.e. weekend, mid-week, or night time.  If you are likely to visit a combination of these ski areas 10 times or more in the 2012/2013 season, it would be worth it to pick up a season pass.

If you are not sure if you will be skiing at a Snow Time ski area that often, but are sure you will at least make it to one 4 or 5 times during the season, then the Advantage card is a good deal.  The Advantage card gives you 40% off the ticket price when you purchase a ticket and every 6th ticket is free.  My advantage card paid for itself after 4 visits last year and was well worth it.

More information and online purchasing of Season Passes and Advantage Cards can be done at any of the Snow Time resort websites:

Good to see the prices announced.   I'm sure some of the East coast members will be happy to see them.
