I think we need to add a volantaddict bobblehead.  I've seen pics with the robe and beard - he would make a very cool, recognizable bobble head! icon14.gif

For a future t-shirt, I would like to see the EPIC logo at top, and then a list of about 30 or so of the best/funniest slogans from this thread underneath the logo.

Or maybe another shirt idea could be the logo at top with all of the member's screen names listed below.

Hmm...there's an idea there.  Epicski- branded sardines.  We could get a private-label product run, market them them online and in ski-town grocers, even use it as a premium for becoming a supporter.

Why sardines?  My brother did private-labeled scotch for his company.  Who wants sardines and what do they have to do with Epic?

Ah...sardines.  They kept coming up in various threads (favorite snacks to take with you on the slopes, a hemet thread or two).

Sardines and scotch, now we're talking!

I would like to see a logo sticker with the slogan "The Gathering". Simple and says it all.

The t-shirt version would be big logo on front and a list of Gatherings with year and ski resort(s) on the back. Similar to a band's tour t-shirt. On the back it would say "The Gathering" at top with list below.

Yea, Marketing, it's my job :-)

Great suggestion, Matt. Right now the plan (and budget) is for stickers and not clothing. I didn't get any response to my suggestion that we post high-res versions of the poster ideas and allow anyone to go to Costco to have one made for the reasonable price of ~$15 -- which I doubt we can match with S&H -- but that's what I plan to do. If it's not a commercial effort, the stranger can't complain that we pulled a GaperBoy...right, Phil?

Cooked sushi? isn't that an oxymoron?

Sardines and scotch anyone?  now that's a logo!    beats Changef for a nickel (nickle) any day......icon14.gif

(yes, the sardine thing started in a helmet thread; see helmet threads are good.)

I love anchovies, problem is the tin is too small to make a good first impression, "is that a sardine in you pocket or are you just glad to see me" see what i mean? Sardines and scotch, nice combo you could use a rusty nail to open your sardines if you've lost the key.

Shhh!  Don't tell him that!  We're gettting lots of productivity out of Pete, basically for nothing.

It's not that you can't stomach sardines; it's that you can't stomach your Scotch and the sardines prove it.

This is a great idea nolo (though I don't have a Costco membership currently). I actually like the grumpy old man sticker the best. There, now you have a response.
