Make sure whoever's likeness you use, you get permission from.

I'll let it sit for half a day or so -- then look at it again with a set of fresh eyes and tweak it.  My hands especially look a little too young yet. Maybe I will add some Lemmy-like moles on my face.

Now that's a ballsy request! biggrin.gif  I do have some ideas though now that you mention it..........   worthless.gif

I'm loving the poster idea.  Would probably buy a hoodie as well.

I'm also wondering about who will see this, and if/we care who sees it.  One the characteristics consistent on Epicski is the frequent use of humor, often self-deprecating, often sarcastic, and often making references to skiing-specific cultural memes.   So a poster that's basically a big in-joke is perfectly representative of the Episki experience.   (Could even have a political-type disclaimer:  "I'm Bob Barnes and I approve this message")

Getting back to the sticker design (seeing as I have an Epicski sticker proudly displayed on my Yakima cargo box, as well as my Epicski cap and Epicski fleece vest):

Is the point of the sticker to get others interested in Epicski, or to just have our own special symbols?   If the former, then a catchy phrase would be nice, if the latter, not necessary, the simpler the better.  Small print on a sticker is not going to be seen, if they do see it, it's likely going to be on a car window or cargo box, and you might not be around to explain.

Don't we have a thread about "experienced" skiers?  The 80 + crew.

I know one member over 80 posted his pic but he actually looked like he was in his 60's.

With that in mind, how about:

"You Maggots stay off my snow"

I chuckle just thinking about it.

You can imagine what they'll come up with.

you look like your face is melting now!

not to complicate things but would it work better with you shaking your pole instead (you know what I mean right?  Not that pole)  the original was just about perfect. have the basket showing. Its more subtle

The joke-in-a-joke there was the guy that originally ordered the stickers spelled it nickle so they a crapload of them with the incorrect spelling.

What about the zipper?  I don't mind pullovers--some guys don't like them though.

I prefer zips but hey that's me. Whoever does the work should be able to set it up to work out. Either way, its a large image and will not fit on the back in all likelihood

I loved the helmet with the sticker on it. Our model shouldn't be hideous, but handsome and sexy like the Dos Equis Man. I just sent Weems a note asking if he might be willing to play along, since he's the closest I could think of to "the most interesting man in the world."
