Just a few pics from some of our hikes up at Steamboat. Its dry here but still very green. We got 1.8" of rain last Friday in a torrential storm.   Ms. Finn took part in the Mud run up here and did very well!  I missed being able to run that with her.  take a look at the some of the new base area; they did a great job.

Very nice!  

Did I hear a rumor that you put your boots on? 

 

Love the view from your patiobeercheer.gif Great place to enjoy an afternoon beverage.

Nice! Not sure where the first one is, but looks like Hahn's Peak, Rabbit Ears and (the singletrack) Howelsen/Emerald Mountain trails, maybe?

 

My favorite hike out there was Red Dirt to Mad Creek. Fish Creek Falls was also hard to beat for a short one. 

 

I'm guessing that fire pit hasn't seen much use this summer biggrin.gif

1- Emerald at the top of the quarry

2-Hahns from Steamboat lake

3- yeah, you can't mistake that one!  We love that hike

4- mostly shots from Spring Creek

 

Doing  Mad Creek tomorrow.  Great hike

yeah, its great to get to know more of the area and doing landscaping at the house does make it seem more like home.  The Mud run was a big hit so I know they are doing it again next year and I think we need a Team Epic......  

 

Here's a few more new ones from the Hot Springs hike (starts at Mad Creek near Clark)
