Quiver Killer inserts installation

Thread Starter

I just installed some Quiver Killer inserts for the first time. All went well except for 2 nos inserts which I have screwed in a bit too much - they are about 2mm below the top surface of the skis. Question is what should I do -

Should I just leave them as they are and use longer screws for these 2 inserts? I am also worried about moisture getting into the core through this 2mm gap.

Should I try to unscrew and lift these two installed inserts up by 2mm or remove completely and re-install with new ones? In which case - HOW to remove the installed inserts?

Please help.

Send an e-mail to quiver killers, or try a thread at TGR for a little more traction.

I received no reply from Quiver Killer. However, TGR is very helpful (as "ecimmortal" kindly provided the link).

Many thanks.
