I don't think he's a troll.
Back in the early nineties golf was a hard game. Then Callaway came out with the Big Bertha line and any fool could knock it down the fairway. Many though they had suddenly discovered the "secret" to golf, but it was just very cleverly designed, user friendly equipment.
Modern skiboards, like the Summit Marauders HeartCarver is on in the first video, are so easy to use and control, that you see an instant and dramatic improvement in your results, not your technique, just your results. They are the Big Berthas of the ski world. HeartCarver narcissism is taking credit for the improvements his equipment has provided. There is no new technique here, just an intermediate skier on user friendly equipment, who feels like he has discovered the secret to skiing.
Maybe his geographical isolation from the mainstream skiing world makes him think that he has some thing new and exciting, and that the rest of us are just in the dark? There is probably a market for a product that fills the gap between long skis and short skiboards, but I think it's been attempted in various guises at various times. Just a fool and his fools gold.
