Step right up and make your picks. Here is how this will work. For each group stage winner you pick you get one point. For each quarter final winner picked you get two points; each semi-final winner is worth three, and getting the champion right gives you five points. There will be three bonus points awarded if you predict the winner of the Golden Boot. I realize I'm late getting this up as I just thought of the idea. Try to get your picks posted before the end of the first set of games of group play (Before the end of the England/France fixture Monday)

I know I was late w/ my picks although I called that Russia winning anyway (not that I could prove it, but I thought it was a no brainer) and I called Greece beating Poland (how hard is it to make a PK).  Can't wait until tomorrow to watch a couple of my favorite national teams play (Holland and Germany).  Oops, did I just pick w/ heart?

 

Just noticed that some are picking the golden boot winner - Podolski (he'll reap the rewards of a great midfield, and a great system).

Updated standings after group play. Sorry for lack of formatting I'm still only on mobile. I think the relatively low scores by all of us show how unpredictable this tourney has been.
