What expert level skis should I get? - Page 2

I was once asked on the street by a hobo in rags to define epic. I was perplexed. I mean, there is that song by Faith No More, there is nuking the opposition on Call of Duty, there is chugging two liters of beer from a boot and then, there is this.

Skilogik Ullr's Chariot TT: -  Wide enough for pow & crud, torsionally stiff with plenty of sidecut for carving on hard snow, quick enough for trees & glades, ok in the bumps & twin tip for switch, pipe & park.

Yeah. I didn't realize how versitle that is. I will have to take a look and get back; does it accomodate a sardine tin holder though?

Snowfun3- if you were a real expert you could get 40% powder with your "expert card"  see, you just have to show it at the ticket window in the AM.

Besides, how do we know he isn't an "Expert?"  CWagner could simply be a pseudonym for the likes of say...CWest, who may have lost his sponsor-provided skis and has now turned to Epicski to help sort the wheat from the chaff within the dizzying array of other ski choices.

Before deciding on what helmet the OP should use, shouldn't we first determine once and for all if he (or anyone) should even wear one or not???

Otherwise, it just seems a little Putting the Cart Before the Horse(ish)...

Damn - AC30 - FKNA - why didn't I think of that! Thanks Greg. AC30 - right the ski that does EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING! Yo - CWAGNER - Volkl AC30 - perfect for EVERY condition (many here believe that - honest!)

And right, where are you Finnblog when I needed You! (FYI - back in DK now - Christiania tonight - everythings's OK ;-))

How to tell an Expert skier.

1. He/she has a Sponge Bob Square pants backpack.

2. Your name is CHOAS or BB.

3. He/she kills it on old school skis.

4.Your turn.

Ahh, yes but dont' forget the number of pockets and zippers are also factors here.

How about this one? Does it match the OP boots?  I think this version (its the one I am rockin' this season) of Sponge bob pack is perfect, the colors go nicely and "your a winner" is exactly how you should announce to the resort that you are an expert.  (Jimmy, note the upper sardine holder pocket)

Uh, last time I checked Line's website, the P90 you recommend has 500 mm of early rise, and not clear about a true twin tail. So is your joke followed by advice that contradicts itself better than a "condemnation" (can't figure out who I'm condemning but hey, send 'em all to the gallows) followed by advice pointing to three respected twin park/terrain skis, two higher level pure rec (Dead Money and Wall) and one that's used by K2's team (Domain)? Hmmm. This is a tough one...wink.gif

I personally would recommend this one, which has passed the rigorous IS9ESPN Euro certifications that only I'm smart enough to know about: http://www.rei.com/product/833928/raskullz-bike-helmet-kids

I'm calling you out Finn, sort of. If you wear that get up to a bar at a ski resort nest season I will buy all the liquor you can drink. Are ya up for it?

^^^^ No, mine was the dragon. The testers were concerned that the cat's ears could be used to impale passing skiers. Particularly the NASA titanium alloy Kitty Goes To Space model (not pictured, $7,349 with shipping).

I do not think that word you use means what it is you think it means.  Early rise <> Rocker.  Show me two xgames competitors that ski half pipe on rockers.  I haven't seen anybody tearing up a pipe on rockers.

Dude, this combo is totally rad and awesome, I can ski so much better now.  I will let you wear it for a few runs next season, you will get your carving skis up on edge so high!

Think I'd rather have the sardines.

Be careful with the sardines once you take them out of the tin.

Cool, maybe you would be interested in some sort of time share arrangement, when you're not using the jacket I could wear it. I'd probably need to use the SpongeBob back pack as well i'm afraid my green NinjaTurtle backpack would clash with the steezey jacket! Now i gotta figgure out what color tall tee??

Maybe you could add a little Marlboro smoke flavor to the sardines while you have them?drool.gif
