But you are RONG -- you forgot they are both SHINEY and touched by a TV personality.  So I believe the correct demand is TWO MILLION DOLLARS.

No, partially because they are always priced out of the range I will spend on skis, and partially because I really don't have much use for another pair of 81mm waisted skis. I already have Machete SIN which is where the dimensions for the Silver M were first applied; they are great skis, but my FBs are so much better for the type of freeskiing I do, that I only use them for race league.

Hey jaw by us bumping this thread it rises in frequency and leads to more search results on the internet.

 Any bite on those Metrons ?    First we should have a confessional for how many here bought those skis ?  I know quite a few. 

 Do a search on Metrons in this forum and you'll see some interesting discussions relating to this ski. 

They're not worth as much as the Volants but are functional skis. as used skis get older they lose relevance . Sometimes the bindings become worth more than the skis they are mounted on.

  They look to be in nice condition so 100 to 150  would be my guess if they are lightly used.

There are people here that could use a good deal on a used ski. A big guy or gal could work these  as a beginner- intermediate  other wise a smaller  intermediate who wants to learn how to edge a solid groomer ski. They are a tip and turn ski and need to stay connected on the snow to work the best

. An East coaster could find use for these at a good price.

Expecting a big windfall from these skis would be foolish but passing them on at a nice price would be considered more of paying it forward.   

If I can get a sticker to send you would you mount it on a car , preferably your own  and take a picture for us to appreciate  ?  I think I have one or might get someone here to offer another

This is a good indicator of the value of a given ski model. Yes I was a former Metron owner,about 3-4 pair as I recall.

I have to check further on the Volants, not 08's  Look to be 08/09 but the picture is so blurry you can't see it well enough to discern the differences

I thought they were worth ONE BILLION DOLLARS!!!

it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be to cut through. A hole saw is usually made to cut wood so it wouldn't work on two layers of metal! The cap was the softer of the two metal sheets. I used two drill bits, jig saw, cutoff wheel and grinding stone wheel on my dremel to smooth the holes. It took about two hours for all four holes. We (my buddy and I who made it) even managed to engrave our names on it.
