I have really been coming into form & have done well in races this season. I have a couple thoughts coming into to last month. Most are around consistent training, diet & my feet!
I plan on hitting more core work on off run days. I also need to really eat well & watch my toes. I did a killer training trail run last week & really tore up my feet in the wet conditions. I also am having some trouble w shoes as Nike changes their last just about w every update. I have a new option of Asics offering me a deal, yet I have yet to trial the product. Last season I was unpleased w Nike until I swapped out for a few events w New Balance..... Don't get me wrong everyone makes a good shoe, it just may not work for a particular foot / style. If I am going to switch, I have to do it soon for this event.
I've been hitting tons o hills & have a good calender of smaller lead up events.
