Kingdom Trails VT & Burke Mtn. June 23

Not sure if this should go here or in cycling.

 

There is a gathering of mountain bikers, NEMBAfest (NEMBA: New England Mountain Bike Association) at KIngdom Trails and Burke June 23 and 24.  Lots of stuff going on like guided rides for all abilities.  Vendors and demo bikes, live music, camping, beer!  

 

So I am planning on heading up Friday night and riding Saturday and Sunday; probably a combination of xc on the KT network and some lift served at Burke.

Now I know some will say there is better riding here and there and it's a good weekend to avoid the place because of crowds, but it won't be that crowded and I look at it as a good way to connect with a tribe if like minded folk and have a good time.

I'm not close enough to take advantage but this sounds like a great event.

I was gonna say I'll see you there, but it's the same weekend as Mont Sainte Anne, so I'm just a maybe.

A few weeks later is the Vermont Mt Bike Festival in Waterbury VT, in two weekends you can hit some of the best trail riding in the world

#26 and #90  (Ok, the list is just N American trails, so it's a little suspect... but KTA and Perry Hill are legit)
