Will custom footbed work for flatfeet

My wife has serious problem with flatfeet (real flat - she cannot walk for more than couple of miles before the ache appears). Just wonder whether she should get some custom footbed for her ski boots - will it help?

Scavenger,

 

In order to answer your question, we would need to see and examine her feet, obviously something not done here---I suggest you search out one of the boot fitters listed in the "Whos who" listing at the top of the "Ask the boot guy's" section.  If your wife has flexable flat feet she may qualify for "custom" foot beds.

There are also solutions for rigid flat feet as well.  Chose a good boot fitter or CPed to help you.
