Inside scoop on living on Keystone Mountain

Thread Starter

I am moving to Keystone Mountain in a few weeks and am looking for any advice.  I do not know anyone out there and have a place 1.5 miles west on Highway 6 from the lodge.  Recommendations for food, drink, grocery, and just lifestyle????  Thanks!!!!

Principal grocery will be City Market in Dillon, maybe 4-5 miles farther along Hwy 6 than your spot.

There are breweries and wine shops in Dillon's other marketing spots.

The Dam Brewery is a popular watering hole, as is Pug Ryan's. There are many others in Summit County.

I have no "lifestyle" experience. We don't drink and mostly eat at home.

There are summer golf leagues, bicycle riding groups, sailing and court game groups as well as scads of hiking spots. One or more of those activities will get you meeting others. Look up MEfree30 and send him a PM. He lives in Frisco and probably knows others in the area.

Lifestyle: Bike up and over Loveland Pass until exhausted. Repeat until ski season.
