Bindings for 12-13 Blizzard Bonafide 180 cm

Just looking for some recommendations on bindings for Blizzard Bonafides I just purchased.  I'm thinking the Marker Jester is probably a good pick.  Would the Griffons work?  Open to any recommendations.  Thanks.

Griffons are fine but so are Looks, Tyrolia, .... As long as the brake is wide enough

The Griffon will work just as well as the Jester unless you turn the DIN (retention) up higher than 11. Basically, if you (by you I mean anyone, not singling you out) truly need a binding with a DIN setting higher than 13, then you know you need a binding that goes higher, so the Griffon should be fine.

Thanks for the feedback.  The Bonafides are 98 mm at the waist.  Is there a rule of thumb for how wide the brake needs to be?  For example could I mount 100 mm brakes or would I need 110's?

Sweet.  Thanks.

I just picked up a set of Look Pivot 14 Wide.  They state a 95mm brake but many on here have used them on Bones.  I am still between Bones and Bushwackers but knew I wanted the Pivot and it will work with either.  Just another option if you are interested.

A 100 brake is more than adequate since they are 98 wide. You can also easily bend  a 90 or 95 to accommodate. that's an easy fix.  You really don't want to go wider than a 100, you don't want the brake to be too wide on the ski. It will stick out too much.

Pictures of 110 Griffon on the Hell and Back which is 98 underfoot.  They stick out a bit more than I'd like.  But when the boot is in, it seems fine.

To the OP- please try not to spam the forums with multiple questions about the same topic. Otherwise, good luck with the new ski.

Sorry about that. I couldn't seem to find a delete option and the post did actually change a bit.
