Old set of ski's

Thread Starter

I have an older set of 6'7" Fiberglass skis. They have old style metal bindings, the model # S 300 and they say made in germany. There is a stamp on the side that says SEARS. Does anyone know what these are worth or can tell me anything about them?

They sound like the old "Othmar Schneider", skis.  If that is what they are they were made by Fisher for Sears.  They were not a bad ski in their day.  If they are what I think they are the are from 1968-72 range.

Not a collectors ski and probably no value to them, but not a bad ski.

At this point in time (may be different in 20 years) old skis only have "antique" value if they are polished wood.  Skis that have colors or metal edges or fiberglass are still in the "trash can" category once they are no longer current technology.  I'm sure that will change, which is why I have a garage full of them.  smile.gif
