Thoughts on: Liberty morphic, Nordica El Paco, Head Inferno/Rock n Roll

Hi all,

I need a new set of 1 quiver skis to replace my Head XRC 800 (which are more than well used now, so I don't plan on using these much anymore).

 

I'm 5'9" (175 cm), 145 lbs, and strong intermediate skier, technically speaking; but the terrain has to involve uncovered rock cliffs before I say "No way man."

 

I ski in western Canada (AB/BC) on approximately 25% (equal amounts each) on groomed, crud, trees, and off piste... but if there's powder I'm going to enjoy it while it's there.

 

Does anyone have any thoughts on the following skis? I have the opportunity to get a pretty good deal on one of these at a local shop. I am pretty light (145 lbs), so a super stiff ski is not for me.

 

Liberty Morphic (94 waist, not the short 84 version)

Nordica El Paco (new for 2013?)

Head Rock n Roll

Head Inferno

Check Dawgcatching's reviews here on both Heads; he thinks highly of them. Have not seen a thing about the other two. But IMO, something like the Rock n Roll would be hard to beat for your mission. Blizzard Bushwacker is another ski that's nice for everything if you're a lighter skier,  depends on whether you prefer a damper feel (Heads) or livelier (Blizzards). Very good prices right now on both.
