New plate on Rossignol and Dynastar race skis for next year

Came across this from a reliable store, no other explanation. Anyone know about the new plate, whether it will be stiffer or softer?

I'm looking at the 12/13 Rossi race products brochure.  It looks like all of next year's adult race skis (Radical WC SL, Radical WC GS, Radical WC DH, and Radical WC GS Master) will come with the R18 plate.

All of last year's models had the I-BOX SPEED (for the DH) or the I-BOX TECH (for the tech skis) plate.

I've only been around Rossi for this season, so I don't know how the R18 differs from the I-BOX, whether stiffer, softer or whatever.  I'll see if I can find out.

FWIW, I have a pair of next year's 166cm Radical WC SL's.  I skied on them for about six days toward the end of the season here at JH and I absolutely, full-on, flat-out LOVED them.  I skied them on groomers, huge bumps, horrendous refrozen chickenhead crap, and out of bounds.  I had so much fun I hated to take them off.  My Head RD iSL's are going to the ski swap next fall.

Thanks, Bob. Already have some old FIS female spec Rossi GS's, interested in the GS Master. Anything you can glean about the new plate will be seriously appreciated.
