There is NO brand type of foot (thank you Fanatyko). All manufacturers have different sized boots for different sized feet, so DON'T think of any brand as being right for you.
OK you got a point, Lange Concept 95's beginner/intermediate boot fits most because it is designed as such. As you get up in quality and performance there is a difference in boots based on manufacturers. Lange has for the most part always been narrow/low volume (typical Lange foot) and Lange in the last few years has been working to capture more market share by increasing volume and width on some models and Adevrtising them as such Example: Lange RS130 (typical Lange foot) or RS130 Wide (Flippers like yours )
It is my understanding, that Atomics have typically hadf higher volumes and usually a wider fit. To give you a good comparison of this I have '08 Lange WC130 WC fit 26.5mondo boots, my wife has '09 Atomics M90 26.5mondo, aside that hers is a woman's boot so cuff is cut different, I am completely loose in her boot in the forefoot. She can't even get into my Langes. Not going to worry about the cuff for this comparison. Niether boot has had any alterations. I am going to have the Atomics further widened to better fit her foot.
You'll note that a lot of posters recommended good boot fitters for that reason, they can assess the foot and determine the best boot/make that should have the greatest chance of fitting with the least amount of alteration.
Now if the boot that you have (Concept 95) works for you, does it matter much on the ability rating, likely not, because it does what you want. For me personally, won't even come close, won't fit, to soft, crush-able lower shell (I've been skiing super stiff boots for over 30 years and 130 are the softest yet).
So I concede you the point, Beginner Boots, who cares most should fit, Performance Boots little more selective to foot type. In this range you either have a Lange/Atomic/Nordica/Rossi Foot or not. Once you know it does make it easier to find were to start on a search for new boots.
