Have you seen this yet? Peak Video Productions to film 2013 EpicSki Gathering at Big Sky!

As I said in the Gathering thread, this could yield us some pretty cool side benefits..like providing extra incentive for the ski companies to send their reps with product for us to demo.

I'm really looking forward to this!

Me too!  this is going to be a kick in the arse!!  I've never skied either Big Sky or Bridger, let alone Moonlight Basin.  I've also never (knowingly) skied with any Bears.  Trekchick - I'm especially looking forward to meeting you and Phil.  I understand Phil is a friend of BananaPants and am looking forward to exchanging stories/dirt on Lynne.  That could be quite entertaining!!

I'll pass the word along to Phil.

If you bring a flask of good bourbon, I guarantee it will be entertaining!

'Good bourbon' is an oxymoron.  But whatever floats his boat...

You should pop into the "What are you drinking?" thread.

After taking a quick look, I'm pretty sure I couldn't keep up.

No need to keep up, just cruise along as you enjoy an apres' moment or two.  beercheer.gif

For instance, what I'm drinking at the moment is a nice cup of coffee with a hint of cinnamon

Oh I'm sure I'll do just fine.  Just not with bourbon....a good IPA or three will likely be my choice biggrin.gif

Powder Triangle - 2011:

We're on a brief hiatus from shooting for a couple of weeks as a couple of our main participants are on the beach in Hawaii for a few days and I'm actually at work, trying to maintain some appearance of earning a paycheck. In the meantime, take a look at our show from 2011. This is a somewhat typical example of the television shows we produce that can be viewed around the country as part of the New Vision Syndication, Mountain Top Series.

This probably is still showing in several markets as they tend to be repeated numerous times. This is the kind of show that we will feature the EpicSki Gathering in, mixed in with two or three other stories. We'll have some skiing, interviews, and report whatever shenanigans we can find. I trust there are a few of you who will provide us plenty of story content (Trekchick, I'm thinking of you and Phil on this....). I hope you enjoy both watching this and being a part of the new story!

After nearly a year of putting together our ideas for a story shoot at the EpicSki Gathering, I regret to tell you that we won't be able to attend. We have some contractual obligations that had originally shortened the amount of time we could attend that have now completely overrun us. We just are running out of winter and need to get some things shot that take us in the opposite direction of Big Sky and interfere with the Gathering schedule. I'm really, really disappointed as I was very much looking forward to getting to meet many of you and in letting you all tell your story about EpicSki and the Gathering. I think it's a cool story that deserves to be told and I'm going to miss the opportunity to share it. Have a great time and I hope you get lots of powder.

Sorry it didn't work out, because it sounds like we'll be having more fun -- though of course it won't be the same without you! cool.gif

Yes, I think you're right. We'll be skiing by day and road warriors at night while you're skiing then eating pizza and drinking beer...  beercheer.gif
