Buying skis with demo tracks

Hi all, this is my first post I just joined.  I'm currently looking at buying a pair of Volkl Bridge skis with Marker Griffon bindings.  The skis are new as are the bindings and the bindings are mounted to demo tracks so they could be easily adjusted.  I'm not too familiar but I don't see a big deal about this.  Any thoughts?  Anything in particular that could be problematic about this?  I guess I can always take the tracks off if necessary and plug the holes but doesn't seem like a big deal.  I can post a picture if necessary.

Thanks,
Mike

I ski these hard and find them to be fine. Easy to adjust if someone wants to try your skis.

Of all the demo bindings, this is as most like the consumer version (the Shizo) as there is. Ski them and enjoy them.

I'm not sure I understand the last post.  The bindings are not demo...the tracks are...does this mean the binding itself is a demo?  Also, I got the skis and found that the bindings are white and red not silver and red.  After doing some research I found that these are the 2008 model bindings.  Is there an issue with this?  Is there really a difference?  I got a good price on the skis (skis are brand new).  The bindings look new so I don't think they've been worn at all.  All I have to do is take them in to get set for my boots but I have 2 weeks to return if I want.

Thanks

Sorry for the second post, but does anyone have any comments on the older bindings mentioned above?  They are new bindings never used, just an older model.

Thanks again

What the last post prior to yours meant was

"There are bindings with BIG differences between retail versions and those on demo tracks.

This is not one of them.    Don't worry about it.    Go ski."

Ah, thank you.  I guess I will not worry about that then.  The last question is regarding the 2008 new bindings?  Is there that much of a difference that I should return the skis?  Or does it not matter?

Do not worry about it.   Go ski.
