Difference between KT and KTI?

Hi - I've done searches here and on rest of web, cannot locate (even using internet archives) a distinction between the earlier Kastle/Marker KT binding and the later KTI. From photos they look essentially identical. Anyone here know? And was the KT last produced in 2009 season or 2010? Many thanks.

I don't know if this helps, but the KTI is a straight rebrand off the Marker Performance series. The KTI bindings on demos this year were typically the glide control 11.0 rather than last year's 12.0.

I had both last year's KTI 12 and this year's 11GC side by side yesterday, and can't say I am terribly impressed with the new GC design for long term durability. Yes, it offers slide adjustment for demos, but was a screwdriver really all that problematic?

Not what you were asking...but probably important to know that going forward the KTI should be only the glide control design, which fixes the toe binding to the adjustment slide rail rather than the the front plate, meaning that both toe and heel bindings are only fixed to the heel plate. If anything happens to the glide control mechanism which is plastic inside of the toe binding, the binding is effectively ruined.
