Help with choosing skis?

Thread Starter

Hey all, just joined today to get some personal help on shoosing my first pair of twin tip skis.

I started skiing 5 years ago, and since then just started to learn to ride park this season, i instantly fell in love and am now making the investment ( or not) of buying twin tip park skis. Any suggestions on what to buy? My range is around 299 for skis without bindings, ill mount mine when i get them.

cheers, Rafael

REI has the Volkl Bridge at 163, 171 and 179cm at their website for $329. I have no idea how good/bad they are... I just thought I would give the suggestion on what you can find around this price range.

But better hear from some park skiers out there... :-)

Line Afterbangs or Step Ups. They may be heavier, but they are indestructible, the best feature in a park ski. Rossignol park skis are junk, so are Salomons. Atomic's are good, but I would try to stay with one of the more "progressive" companies out there. Moment, ON3P, Armada, etc make great park skis. The Armada Alpha/Halo series is great, maybe demo one of those. This year is shaping up to have some legendary deals, you'll find something.
