...from the NYTimes: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/09/sports/skiing/for-lindsey-vonn-professional-triumph-and-personal-turmoil.html?src=rechp

As an aside, seems Bill Pennington has good rapport with her; he's done several pieces/interviews that seem to get at least a little past the normal fluff.  He's a pretty good writer that has jumped past "just" being a ski journalist.

edit - bummer I typoed her name in the title; any way to fix to "Lindsey"?

That's a good article.  Its nice to hear that she has developed a sense of community with her team mates, which seems to be leading to a better balance for her life in general.

Thanks for posting this.

Great article and a good read.  Nice to see the Times giving skiing some coverage.

Nice article.

I remember when she came to Alyeska for the 2004 Nationals as a 19 year old.

She fell in the downhill and knocked herself goofy. But she went back and skied lights out after that.

It was obvious she was going to be something special, although no one could have imagined just how good she became.

Watching WC races on Universal this year was really fun. Vonn has no peer when she gets it going.

She has her professional life going great. Now I hope she finds peace in the rest of life.
