Snow- when you get the new babies we need pictures!

Wow, what a calamity and what a happy ending for Snowbowler's daughter. Perhaps someone should contact GMC and let them know of Blizzard's largesse. Maybe find a replacement for the lost Chevy truck?
Well that would be something but insurance has handled it. I go through a local insurance company and I mean really local. I actually do all the electrical work in the corporate headquarters. No 800 #'s to deal with.It might be a little bit more but the payoff is service when you really need it. I had the insurance adjuster calling me as I was heading down the Stowe access road on the way home after learning of the fire.
Here is a preview of the Blizzard Women's line just in case your daughter wants to see what's in store for her.
Ladies prepare to Send It - with Blizzard's 2013 Women Lineup
Well here are some photos of the new gear that Blizzard so generously sent along with all the help from Nolo and the Epicski family. You all are so kind and generous. Caitlin cannot wait to get on them next year.
They are in the same spot the Crushes were in the former garage which has now been cleaned up and hauled away. That was good to be rid of the blackened char, it was a very depressing site each morning. Now it looks so much better especially with that happy girl and those beautiful skis.Thank you again, sincerely, David McCluskey (Snowbowler)
Caitlin here,
I would like to thank the admin of the Epicski website, and also the Blizzard company for sending me these AWESOME Sambas. I absolutely can't wait to try them out later this year, once my knee gets better. As of now, it is 16 weeks since surgery and I am improving every day, with the help of physical therapy and biking trips with my dad. Next ski season, my dad and I are hoping to fly out to Jackson Hole, Wy. and spend some time skiing there. This will be quite exiting for me seeing as I have never been there before. And now with these brand new skis, I am going to have an amazing time during the 2012-2013 ski season. Once again, thank you all so much for your generosity and I am very, very, VERY grateful for this kind gesture.
How cool is that?
Looks like you're both on your way to recovering from the fire, and the knee injury. Wishing you a good summer and great season next year. I notice Vermont is not very snowy these days, but there is a Blizzard.
Well Killington says they have received 19" over this past week, just rain and cloudy in the valley about 30 mile n.w. of Killington where I live. Supposedly they will have 40 trails open Sat, but I'm done for the year, got to get on the road bike and back into tennis.
Congrats snowbowler!
Hope your daughter rocks the new skis and .....well I'm already a Blizzard fan. Now I've got another reason to like them. Way to go Blizzard!
If anyone wonders why we're hearing so much about Blizzard skis........this is why. They are a good company and make a great product.
Kudos to them for stepping up on this one.
Don't forget to post a TR when she gets out on those.
Maybe you will get to ski with her and see for yourself. I am seriously thinking about the Gathering next year. Just have to work out details with regards to missing some school. Maybe a good incentive for her to work harder. Blizzard is a great company. What do you think about their Viva 8.1? looking to find her a carver 75-82mm ski for our hardpack and will definitely go with Blizzard.
The Viva 8.1 was my teaching ski this past season. I really liked it a lot. But IMHO the Viva 7.6 is the one ski that is sooooo under rated in its class. It is fun.
You could close your eyes and pick one of those two and she'd be happy, though the 7.6 is a bit more of an east coast ice skate for those days when you need it.
I saw a lot of those 7.6s out here this year.
Class move from Nolo and from Blizzard. ![]()
What a cool picture of Caitlin with her new Sambas. I'm so glad we could make some smiles out of that bad situation, and very excited to hear you might make it out to the Gathering at Big Sky!
OK, now we need to know what kind of bindings got immolated. I sense an opportunity for a binding company to get some good PR, too.

This is the best story that I have heard all season. Work out the school details and take her skiing next year! I am a teacher and I guarantee you a week skiing with you on her new skis is a lifetime memory that trumps any classroom lesson!
Absolutely agree!!
