Kastle K11 CTI GC vs. K12 CTI Binding

Thread Starter

Besides the DIN settings, anybody know the difference between these two bindings aside from the K11 being a new 'glide control' design?  I am on the KTI12 right now (LX82's), which is perfectly fine for me, and seems a lot of demos this year are mounted with the K11.  I don't want to end up with more binding mount height than the K12, but I'm a DIN 8 for the foreseeable future, so if everything else is equal from a practical perspective I might pick up a good deal on a longer set of Kastles.

Would also be helpful to know if the K12 & K11 use the same mount holes and would be interchangeable without redrilling (if that is even advisable/possible)?

Thanks for any inputs.

Edit:  Looks like Marker has gone to this system for the K12 & K11 systems.  Heel piece is difference, but seems the rest is largely a DIN setting difference and the K11 is probably a tiny bit lighter, so I probably just answered my own question....

I had a pari of skis with the CTI 12  but I can't recall the difference(s), besides din, from the 11.

The 2013 Kastles will have a different binding from Tyrolia.
