renting AT skis in Zermatt

Hi all

Does anyone know if we can rental AT skis in Zermatt.  Since we will only ski for a week or so, its a long way to bring our AT skis.  Bringing boots is a must, given fit and performance.  FYI, my wife and I have Dynafit AT boots with vibram soles.  Dynafit binding would be nice, but we can use Fritchi bindings if need be.  thanks,  cmr

Not sure, but my guess is that it would be easier there than lots of US resorts.

The only issue I had renting AT skis in Les Arc France was that not many places had large touring bindings...IIRC, most were Fritchi, not sure about Dynafit, but that was in 2008.  Why don`t you try calling/emailing a shop or two (or post over at snowheads) if you want to be sure.

Hi all - I found that Matterhorn sport rents AT gear.  They only rental AT skis with Fritchi binding, but that is better than carrying skis to Europe for only a week or so of skiing.  thanks for the help.  car
