Hi all -

I just wanted to remind everyone that we are in a very early fire season out West, and currently have a huge fire (17,000+ acres) burning out of control which started just outside of Truckee, and is burning towards Reno (and Mt. Rose).

This fire started on Sunday, and there is no word on when they expect to have this fire controlled or contained. Also, an unattended campfire may turn out to be the cause of this blaze.

We did not have a particularily wet winter, and are probably going to experience a hot dry summer...not good for fire conditions!

Please take care (as I am sure we all do) when we are out enjoying the wilderness, especially with the 4th of July just around the corner!

Have a safe & fun summer!

- Serenity
