10/11 Kastle MX98 (BMX98) 188cm flat

Wondering if there is any interest in these? This is the model with early rise tip. (Griffin Post Pro Model)

 

They have seen some wear, but still look good and there's nothing a nice tune can't correct. Used approximately 30 days, mounted once (315mm bsl, barons), stoneground once, shallow ptex repair on base, no coreshots.

This ski is the same as the current BMX98.

It's a great ski -- just a bit long for me in 188 (lost some weight).

 

I'll try to get pics up today.

What kinda skiing did you do?  resort, B/C?  I see the tail of the skis have some wear on them?  What is that from?  did you use these in the Park at all?  Thanks

These were used mostly in the resort and some sidecountry. No park skiing.

 

I will take some better pictures to include this week. Wear on topsheet is fairly minimal, and on par with what you'd expect for a season of use.

The wear in those pics doesn't seem to be unusual, or excessive to me.  If they were shorter, I'd be tempted. biggrin.gif

So are these the model with the metal in the ski or with out?  I know they made both and took the Metal out for the following year to cut down on weight.  If you dont mind taking a few more pics that would help.  Thanks

Can't beleive these are still for sale, totally agree there is minimal wear. those are surface scratches that I put on the 1st day I ski a new ski.

I'll take them, if you've still got them.....I love my all metal 194 mx98s, but would like to try the versitility of the shorter length, tip rocker and no metal. My daily driver last year was the 195 mx108, love that ski, but would like a narrower kastle when it hasnt snowed for a week. my bsl is a 315 as well which is a plus....small or large dukes?  Send me a pm with your paypal addy.
