Anyone at Beaver Creek this week? Looking for a conditions update

Family trip planned for first week of April (Spring Break).  Expect to spend most of our time on groomers, with kids (7 & 9) who are novice/intermediate skiers.  Know its been warm, and concerned about coverage and slush conditions.

You might try posting the question in this thread.

DD and I are headed to Alta April 3.  It was in the 50's at Alta Base today.  Doesn't cool off until the weekend. frown.gif

You should have nice conditions, then, if you are sticking to groomed runs. The most important thing is to ski when the conditions are best, which is usually the normal time for lunch. Generally you can sleep a little later, eat a big breakfast, go to where the sun is early, then follow the sun while things soften but before they get soupy. Generally this is, say, 10:30 - 1:30, give or take. Just plan ahead and don't stop for lunch. Also, ask patrol or someone local when you get there.
