Salomon CS flex by temperature

I tried on a pair of Falcon CS Pros today and they fit well, but I was surprised by how soft they seemed to flex.  It was 75 degrees though, so temperature may have come into play.  It would seem logical that a boot that is in theory heat moldable might be softer at warm temperatures, but whether this is actually the case at non-oven temps I have no idea.

Does anyone know if the CS's flex is likely to be more affected by temperature than the average boot?

most brands are about the same for temps vs flex....  The CS stuff is not over the flex points of the boot anyway, so shouldn't matter.

Thanks.  I guess these were just a bit softer than I'd expected, though they guys who they were had had a bit of work done to soften them.
